Holstein 173
The Holsteiner lineage 173 has a fantastic figurehead in the influential top progenitor Capitol I. As a two-year-old, the genetically high-quality Corland mare Pracht-S was purchased. She is bred out of a strongly inheriting half-sister of several international show jumpers and approved stallions such as Quite Capitol, Landcapitol and Cevin. Her granddam U-Capitola is a full sister of Capitol I. In combination with Carolus II, the Van Straaten family has bred the KWPN approved stallion Vermont out of Pracht-S and this line is continued with several mares. Pracht-S was sold to the United States, where she has performed on the highest level with Helen McNaught. The horses from this line have nobility, a good attitude and a lot of jumping quality.
